Mike Martinis is recognized as one of the premier attorneys for real estate law in the Willamette Valley. Since 1977, he has represented a wide variety of clients in all aspects of real estate litigation, including arbitration, civil jury trials and appeals. His practice includes representation of some of the largest real estate brokerage firms in the Pacific Northwest, as well as individual land owners and tenants. Mr. Martinis specializes in all aspects of real estate law and litigation. He frequently provides legal assistance to developers, investors, lenders, realtors, and home inspection companies.Mr. Martinis is well recognized as an expert in the field of real estate and construction law and is a highly regarded lecturer on the subjects. In addition to his work as an advocate and educator, Mr. Martinis is also an experienced arbitrator who is often called upon by parties to decide a wide array of legal disputes.
Mr. Martinis is the past President of the Willamette Valley chapter of the American Inns of Court and has served as an officer and director for a number of important community non-profit corporations, including the Gilbert House (AC Gilbert's Discovery Village) and Oregon Housing & Associated Services (OHAS). Mr. Martinis also served as Chairperson for the Linfield College Alumni Leadership Council. He is admitted to practice in all Oregon state courts, as well as the Oregon Federal District Court and the Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Education
Mr. Martinis received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Linfield College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, in 1974. He received his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law in 1977, where he was also a member of the Board of Editors for the Willamette Law Review.
